The following sentences are not as formal as we want them to be. Retype the sentences by using the key words or phrases provided in the parentheses to make them more formal.

Step 1: Listen to what the teacher says, type the gist, and discuss with your peers.

Step 2: Listen to the same paragraph one more time, take as many notes as possible, and discuss with your peers. 

Step 3: Use the words,  phrases, and sentences to construct a paragraph with your peers.. 

Step 4: Compare your constructed paragraph with the typed paragraph provided by your teacher. Highlight or circle key expressions and grammatical structures that you have missed or need to be corrected. 

Step 5: Engage in discussion to consolidate the learning of key vocabulary and structures, to be led by your teacher.
